OUR MISSION

SAN FRANCISCO ROAD RUNNERS CLUB

The San Francisco Road Runners Club (SFRRC) is a running club in San Francisco with ~600 members of all backgrounds and paces. We are passionate about running and strive to be fun, kind, and inclusive! So please join our runs to achieve your goals, overcome challenges, meet like-minded friends, support one another, and to simply enjoy each other's company!

In 2018, we begin our Member of the Month to recognize someone who brings a particularly positive contribution to the club... it might be from a comeback story, or their joyful/helpful presence at club runs, or they inspire others with their beautiful spirit, or they trained with us and ran one exceptional race.

We invite SFRRC members to join us on Strava. Think of it as a way to encourage one another and to keep track of your running at the same time.

What are your most memorable moments with the Club and why? 

 

There are too many! 

  • First track run: Ned checking on me every 400M repeat: Don't forget to breathe!
  • Zee slowing down on a Thursday Tempo to help push me even though the rest of the group paced ahead.
  • Jon helping me push through my first 14-mile run. He literally slowed down to walk/run with me.
  • Kristine (9:00 PGL) making the Long Run sessions fun every time!
    Tiburon run: how the runners and volunteers came together for an unforgettable experience.

I can keeeeeeep going!
