Have fun and run the streets of San Francisco! Whether you are training for a 10k or a marathon, the SFRRC can help you go the distance.
The San Francisco Road Runners Club meets three times a week to help you achieve your running goals: Saturday Pace Group and Long Runs, Tuesday night track workouts, and our Thursday night group runs. With more than 400 members and paces from 7:30 minute/mile to 12:30 min/mile to a new group for walkers, you’re sure to find someone at your pace. You don't have to run alone.
Interested in trying us out? Join us at our 2017 Season Kick Off on January 21 at 7:45 a.m. We'll meet at The Sports Basement Presidio (610 Old Mason Street, Presidio of San Francisco). Arrive a few minutes early to sign in and come ready to run between 3 - 12 miles. Stay for breakfast to meet our friendly members and learn more about the club. And, at the kick off only, SFRRC members save 20% off their purchases at Sports Basement.
Running 101, designed for those just starting a running program, returning to running after a break, or recovering from an injury, will get you to the finish line of Bay to Breakers. Training programs for the Boston Marathon and Oakland Running Festival are underway. Training for the San Francisco Marathon begins in January.
The SFRRC is an all-volunteer, non-profit running club that offers group runs three times a week for both recreational and competitive runners. No fund-raising involved, but we offer many ways to get involved.
Can't make it this month? The SFRRC offers test runs for prospective members about once a month. Watch this page for more details.
